Plot:He is a brilliant system engineer who is an up-and-comer at his company. In his private life, he has a fiancée. Just when he was at the pinnacle of joy, he suddenly disappears from the face of the earth. "No, you're not Todo Shinichi." Even the name on his official family registry and certificate of residence has been changed. His bank accounts have been seized and his employment has been terminated on grounds that he is a missing person. Without an official family registry, he can't even get married. Did someone set him up? The suspect begins to emerge... Although Shinichi was left with nothing but loneliness, he won't allow himself to go down this way. He won't give up, no matter how much he is betrayed. He will keep believing in people. No matter what happens to him, he will not succumb. "I will uncover the truth, regardless of what it takes." No matter how many times he falls, Shinichi will get back up. -- NTV (wiki.d-addicts)

Yes I liked it so much. The plot was unusual. Personally, it was a first for me and I like movies/series that would make me think. What if it did happen? What would I do if it happened to me? I like asking this questions to myself after binge watching. It means the series/movie affected me in a good way.

The lead actor was great by the way. I remembered him back on Battle Royale (another messed up thing to watch). The antagonist was GREAT, and yes I maybe a bit (just a bit) biased. I'll dive into this more when it's baby's turn.

For the other characters - The fiancee was too weak as a character. As an actress there were times that when its her turn I'd feel blah and worst is I don't feel the emotions she wanted to convey. The step-mother though was annoying me from start to end. I seriously didn't like her character and that is great acting people. I cursed during the last 2 episodes. Damn that woman! The best friend, is someone I also appreciated during the entire series. I doubted his honesty from start to end. But he was a nice guy in a way.

Since I am still on catch up I haven't seen all of his work but the last thing I watched as a comparison was Dark System. He delivered good moments during the episodes where he was casted in. There were moments that I feel like "OMG, he can't say his line with a straight face!" There was also Doctor X where there were too few moments of him (I wanted to see more of his character).

But and I say but! For his performance in Soshite he showed a great leap in delivery. Yes, I did feel that he would/may bring the twist in the story since if he was just a side character he won't be on the cover or in the promotions! Well also the fact that even though I tried avoiding tweets/posts discussing Soshite you'd just see one of them and everything is spoiled. The tweets aside, if they didn't have him in the cover or in the promotions imagine my shock when I found out his part in this series. Me finding out that he's a villain was not a surprise.

(By the way I binge watch on jseries and anime. I hate watching it one episode per week, the waiting would kill me. )

I'm getting way off topic Back to Inoo's performance. He was great as a villain. He had those "evil smile-worthy moments" and it would blow me away. He's so good at acting bad. (He was also a villain in Dark System by the way!) Without bias, this is his greatest performance as an up and coming actor. Yes, he has room for growth still. Buuuut he's been showing great improvement per series/sp/movie.

I'll have to end this by saying "I'm super extra excited for Peach Girl". I'm excited to see what he'd show us next.

This was not a great review. I just can't seem to get my mind to function. I know. I was at the hospital watching my granny when I made this. I'm trying to finish my review on Suikyuu Yankees atm.
